Tasting world-class chili at the annual Owasso Harvest Festival Chili Cook-Off at Centennial Park on Saturday, Oct. 23rd, will also help the Pride of Owasso High School Band get to Pasadena, CA. on New Year's Day to march in the world renowned Rose Parade.

The best chili cooks in the U.S. will gather in Owasso for the International Chili Society Oklahoma Championship cook-off. The winner of the ICS competition at the Harvest Festival Cook-Off represents Oklahoma at the ICS World Championship Cook-Off. Plus scores of local teams will be vying for People's Choice and Best Booth/Showmanship honors. Those purchasing tasting kits can sample some 50 - 60 unique chili recipes!

The cook-off is held in conjunction with the City of Owasso's Harvest Festival featuring bounce houses, hay rides, kids' games, the YMCA scarecrow contest, costume and pumpkin carving contests and lots and lots of fair food and drink.

The festival and parking is free! Parking is located at Owasso High School (12901 E. 86th Street North) with shuttles running to the park throughout the day.

The Cook-Off opens to the public at 11:00 AM and runs until 5:00 PM. The Harvest Festival also opens at 11:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM.
